Story

This year I am running The London Landmarks Half Marathon for The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust a great new charity doing big things to shape a safer future for people who are impacted by Aortic Dissection.

Every year in the UK & Ireland 4,000 people are diagnosed with Aortic Dissection and 2,000 people die unnecessarily from this detectable, treatable, survivable condition.

In 2015 my beautiful father Tim Fleming lost his life to a mis-diagnosed aortic dissection and since that time 14,000 others have tragically suffered the same fate.

The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust is committed to creating a safer future through its excellent work in education and policy change to positively change and influence the here and now. As well as investing in, and shaping research breakthroughs to make the future a safer place for everyone impacted by this devastating condition.

That’s why this year I will be running for research for TADCT.

Please lend your support by donating to the cause or better still set up your own fundraiser to support this great cause with The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust.

Together we will make the difference and drive much needed change.

Be the change you want to see.
#teamaorta

My thanks for your support and encouragement.
