Inherited eye conditions are more common than you might think.  They affect approx. 1in 3500 people and can vary in severity.   I'm one of the lucky ones.  Although I lost my driving license 17 years ago due to my eye condition, I've maintained a reasonable amount of vision and I'm still able to do most things independently but not everyone has the same story.

I'm doing the 10 for 10 virtual challenge to raise much needed funds to support others with genetic eye conditions like me who need a variety of support to help them enjoy as normal a life as possible. Retina UK also invest in valuable research that can make a significant difference to those with progressive eye conditions.
