On May 28th I will be attempting the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge as part of Team Harry Hartley in aid of Candlelighters a brilliant children's cancer charity based in Yorkshire. According to the website the challenge is a gruelling 23 mile slog up and down three of Yorkshire's highest hills climbing over 2100m. Can't wait.....

I've started my training with a diet of wine, Jaffa cakes and fish and chips and will be partaking in the odd stroll between now and the 28th May. It won't be quick or pretty but the aim is to get it done in under 12hours.

Candlelighters give vital support to families throughout their fight against children's cancer and fund research, family holidays, grants and essential additional hospital services.

So if any of you kind hearted, generous and charitable people would care to turn out your pockets and hunt down the back of the couch for loose change for a very good cause I'll be forever in your debt.
