Earlier this year our 11 year old  son Michael was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Thankfully Michael has coped extremely well with his diagnosis and never fails to amaze us with his understanding  of the condition and his bravery. Nevertheless this chronic life long condition has hugely impacted his daily life and his future so I want to do everything I can to help raise money for the JDRF a type 1 diabetes charity and a funder of world-class medical research to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes.
