Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

At the end of June, Jack and I join the St Catherine’s Five Peak Challenge in the Lake District. This involves a 14-mile hike which will see us take on five peaks, including Scafell Pike, and over 3000ft of ascent.

Jack is also going to complete the Prudential RideLondon 100 – a 100-mile cycle race which runs through closed roads through London and into Surrey’s countryside on the route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics – in aid of St Catherine's on August 4.

We are fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley; a local charity with big ambition. St Catherine’s have a vision for a world where everyone facing death and bereavement can do so informed, supported and pain-free. Their team of experts are there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when they need support the most, and they rely on donations to be able to offer their pioneering care.

And they were there for us in 2014, when we needed their help. David Miller, Jack’s Grandad, had amazing care at St Catherine’s – both at home and then when he needed to be admitted to the hospice.

Please donate today and help St Catherine’s be there for people when life comes full circle.
