Bike ride complete! We biked from dawn to dusk. One crazy day! Thanks to all those that sponsored us! For anyone who hasn't yet, you still can if you want to!
Thanks for visiting our page. In January we are moving to Nepal to work for VSO for a couple of years. Cath will be working as a Community Health Worker with local women and Gareth will be working in education. On 28th October we will be biking 100km in one day along Jack Mytton Way in Shropshire. In addition to this bike ride, we will also be fundraising by packing bags at local supermarkets as well as other events in the near future (we will update this page as we go along). It would be great if you could sponsor us and help to support VSO. Your donations here go straight to VSO as they are not for our placements but simply to help fund all the great work they do and in case you wondered this is what they do:
VSO is the world’s leading independent international development organisation that works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. VSO's high-impact approach involves bringing people together to share skills, build capabilities, promote international understanding and action, and change lives to make the world a fairer place for all. Everyday around 1,500 VSO volunteers are working in carefully selected placements, sharing their and experience and working to tackle poverty by empowering those really affected by it.
