Story

Nicole, Lisa and Cath have decided to take part in the Trek 26 London Challenge Walk to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.  As some of you may know, Nicole’s Dad is currently living with Alzheimer’s, diagnosed about 4 years ago.  This has had a tremendous impact on Nicole and her family, which is why we are keen to take on this challenge. More than 520,000 people in the UK have Dementia caused by Alzheimer’s and this figure is set to rise.

We are fundraising, not only to raise awareness of Dementia and Alzheimer’s, but also to raise valuable funds to go towards research and to help fix Dementia Care, a huge problem for most families caring for someone with Dementia.

So, if you are able to, please do donate to help us reach our target of £900.  Ideally, we would love to surpass this target and completely smash it! This walk was rearranged from June. If this does not go ahead in October, we will complete the challenge independently.
