Story
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running the Macmillan 10K Runathon on the 19th June in memory of my nan, Nita Roberts, who passed away in 2003 from cancer. Macmillan helped support my nan and my family through her final days. The nurses were wonderful and compassionate, and a great source of advice at such a dark and upsetting time. Without their help, we may not have been able to bring her home.
My nan was a marvel - a real-life Wonder Woman. Without her, I wouldn't be who I am today. She was a professional entertainer and her vaudeville background was passed on through the gene pool. She has been a great inspiration to me, and continues to be long after her passing.
Following a foot injury last October, I've barely run anywhere. But I'm getting back on the track, treadmill and hills to raise as much cash for Macmillan as I possibly can. They are an important charity and provide no end of support for patients and families affected by cancer. Read more about their work here:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity - so they get to spend more of the money on their services to help people.
You can also donate by text message straight to my fundraising page by texting KITT80
and an amount
of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070. These donations will show up on my page and be included in my fundraising total. You can also add Gift Aid at no extra cost.
So please, please sponsor me. Not only will you be helping others, but you'll also get a nice warm feeling in your tummy... and I'll get a warm feeling in mine knowing that you're supporting me as I sweat, gasp, stumble and cough up my guts through Regent's Park this June.
Thank you - you are a superstar.
