London Marathon 2023 - Stroke Association

London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
In August, aged 55 , my mum Sarah suffered a stroke. She has always been passionate about fitness, running marathons with a competitive age group time, several of which were at London and most notably running 15 sub 3.45 marathons in 15 months.
I am a marathon newcomer, running the marathon on my mum’s behalf. Fitness challenges are something I thrive on, but marathons are a new experience. I will be running in a Stroke association vest, sub 3.45 with Sarah supporting along the route.
I am very keen to raise money and most importantly, awareness for the Stroke Association,, a charity that has already shown support to my mum and will no doubt continue supporting her and many many others in the future. Any size of donation will make a huge difference!
