Story
For the penultimate one, I'll be running half marathon no.4 to raise money for The Children's Trust on Sat 2 April.
Each year, over 40,000 children experience a brain injury and regardless of what else is happening in the world, specialist care, rehabilitation and support must continue for them.
The Children’s Trust provides support for children and young people facing brain injuries and neurodisability conditions through their rehabilitation, education and community services.
The Children's Trust School welcomes children between the age of 2-19 who have profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex health needs. The school provides these children and their family members with a safe, caring and happy environment where individual needs can be met and where the children's' intellectual, physical, emotional and social development is the number one priority.
I have been inspired to raise funds by my friend Tash who worked as a physiotherapist for the Trust. Hearing about the work her and other staff members do to provide these young children and their families with the best life possible is very inspiring.
All donations, no matter how large or small, are hugely welcomed and appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your support.
