Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2003 at 70 years old, with help and support Dad was able to keep her at home until 2011, at which time she went into care. Until families have had or have a family member with this cruel illness it is hard sometimes to explain what it’s like and we don’t wish it on anyone. We sadly lost Mum in April 2020, which was hard, not being able to spend time with her due to Covid-19. Now we would like to give something back to this worthy charity.
