Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We have now successfully completed our epic cycle trip!  A huge thanks to everyone who supported us  and helped us to reach our  fundraising target!  This page will be active until September so there is still time to donate!

Alec Macmillan and David Lappin cycled over 1100 miles from Lands End to John O Groats between 28th May and 13th June 2009. We were joined for the "Scottish Leg" by Susan Murray, Colette Carroll, Gordon Kyle and Neil Clapperton (Grampian HA). "Team Manager" for the whole event was Sharon Walker - thanks Sharon! We are also grateful to Dee Valley Caravans for the generous donation of the use of a motorhome.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Meningitis Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
