Brighter Futures are embarking on a £2.9million appeal in order to bring cancer care closer to those living in Swindon and Wiltshire.   

The money raised will equip a new Radiotherapy Centre, to be built in Swindon, and will provide a service to a catchment population of around 340,000 people who live within half an hour's drive of the hospital.

To help raise money Castledown Radio's Chris Steers will be broadcasting for 24 hours from 9am on the 14th of Nov to 9am on the 15th of Nov 2015. 

The 24 Hour broadcast is also to mark 9 years of Castledown Radio broadcasting on FM.
