Story
My father sadly passed away 8th August exactly a month to the day before Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth died. My father had a stroke over 5 years ago, daily life changed for our family and the relentless caring took its toll on us all.. Life has been challenging for so many of us over these last few years. Whilst we had set ourselves a goal to run this at the beginning of last summer 2021, life took over, we have all moved on with our lives, but we are all ready to take on this challenge. We have Jasmin in Toronto Canada as photos will show, Keir in Aberdeen and Harry in Dorset
Our late Queen Elizabeth II was a patron of The Stroke Association and Juliet my sister in law was so honoured to be at the Queen's funeral in Westminster Abbey, a day we will not forget.
For those who are interested, you can read my father obituary here https://eastdevonnews.co.uk/2022/08/30/devon-noel-page-turner-obituary. Whilst it is a blessing he has left us, and we can now remember the good times, much still is needed to help stroke survivors. If you were able to support our challenge, we would be so grateful. Thank you for your support.
