Story
Each year, trustees and volunteers of the Giraffe Project children's charity set up a team of runners and, since 2021, walkers who participate in the 20km of Brussels, a race opened by King Philippe of Belgium and leading through the grand avenues of Brussels. A part of the starting fees and particularly the fundraising undertaken by the runners amongst family, friends and colleagues benefit the Giraffe Project children's charity, which helps children in the slums of Kenya to improve their living conditions by going to school and receiving higher education or professional training.
