Story
Andy loved to run in the mountains and in 2012 he and I trained for and completed the Lakeland 50. In the years since Andy left us I have come to realise how closely my own physical health is linked to my mental health and so I will be running the Lakeland 50 again in 2019 in memory of Andy or "Clouis" with Matt another of Andy's "running friends".
On top of that I will also be running a marathon every weekend in October starting with the Chester marathon, then the Kielder marathon, then the Langdale marathon which claims to be the toughest marathon in the UK and finally the Snowdonia marathon which also claims to be the toughest marathon in the UK!
So that's the Lakeland 50 followed by 4 marathons. 155 racing miles which I will aim to complete in 33 hours.....
Loreal factor Clouis! Because you're worth it! (He'd hate that!!!! :-) )
If you can spare whatever you can to support a fantastic cause this would help to motivate me through every agonising mile.
