Story
Casa Lar de Mangueira.
Casa lar de mangueira is a home for 17 disabled children who are orphan or their families can´t look after them, it currently depends on contributions and donations from different Brazilian social organisations and Quest Overseas. Quest for change has been supporting this project for the las 4 years and will continue to do so for years to come.
So far this year Quest has spent near 10000 (Quest own donation and just giving appeal) and this donation has made a huge difference in the lifes of the adolescents at Casa Lar. Also, the donation and the Quest presence has motivated other partners and we have managed to secure some other food and supplies donations for after Quest is gone.
This is my final appeal as I am here only for a few more days. So far, we have given a lot of support buying medication, food, supplies for the home (nappies, sheets, and other essential items). However, the current donation money has run out (thanks to all of you who have donated) but there are more things that need to be bought to leave after Quest has gone this year.
We are aiming for a further 700 pounds to clear the final debt they have at the chemist (so they can keep having credit) and buying other essentials for the home, which they would not be able to buy without this help.
Please help the children at Casa Lar a bit further and lets try to reach a target of 700 pounds in the next few days!
Thank you all very much!
Please, just a little bit of your spare change, will go a long way to helping this amazing children who are in need at the moment.
