UPDATE - September 2023:

On the 10th anniversary of our first ever visit to Portugal, which led shortly afterwards to the purchase and restoration of Casa Fuzetta, I am proud to share that we have achieved a new milestone in our support for TreeSisters and enabled the planting of 10,000 trees.

We are proud to have been a member of TreeSisters since 2019.

As of April'22 we committed to increase our support and provide funding to enable TreeSisters to plant one hundred trees for every group that stays with us at Casa Fuzetta. As of 31 October 2022, together with our guests we funded the planting of 6189trees. {In November, TreeSisters moved their fundraising to JustGiving and adapted their strategy to focus on their holistic approach and impact, rather than specific tree counts.}

We felt TreeSisters were the right organisation in view of the number of female guests we have, particularly on yoga retreats and that TreeSisters work with female led projects in Mozambique and other former Portuguese territories made their work even more relevant.
