Hello Everyone,Bowel Cancer is the second biggest killer in the UK and what’s more disturbing is that this is extremely treatable with early detection.

I have challenged myself to take part in the Scotland Tough Mudder in July to help raise funds for this fantastic charity.

Over the past few years I have come to realise that sometimes I have to really push myself to achieve things I would have previously seen as totally out of my reach. This is a massive step in that journey for me, and to be able to raise some money at the same time will encourage me further.

I am taking part as part of a large team made up if people I have met through a programme I have been involved with. Its a massive step out of my comfort zone but I'm very excited.

I know pennies are tight at the moment but anything to help me drag myself around this course will really spur me on!
