A few weeks ago a good friend of mine was diagnosed with stage 4  metastatic breast cancer... Trying to smother her with love but feeling a little helpless... so in true Emma style I thought I'd set myself a challenge. I am going to swim 22 miles in 12 weeks which is the length of the english channel. All money raised will be donated to a charity called mummy's star.

Mummy’s Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to women and their families diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or within 12 months of giving birth.A mission is to provide cancer support to every family facing this traumatic situation.
