Carolyn's running x3 further than her legs can carry her

I am going to be training myself up to run not one, but THREE Half Marathon’s this year, after managing to make it through my first ever race last September. …seriously wishing I had kept up my training since then, but who doesn’t like a challenge. Another interesting and extremely sweaty journey ahead.
The first will be the Hackney Half on 19th May, followed by the beautiful Serpent Trail on 6th July, before topping of the trifecta with the Richmond Half again on 15th September.
My reason for wanting to support this MNDA relates back to the passing of my grandpa a few years ago. It was heart-breaking to watch this brilliant man’s body rapidly deteriorate from within, with his mind still in check. He always was a sporting man, so hoping to do him proud over the next 6 months with these races.
Despite the incredible support we were able to get for my grandpa whilst he lived with the MND, it is a rare condition which is still without a cure. This is why I am raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association, because it is an amazing UK charity that is devoted to supporting individuals, families and communities across the country through their care services, research and by raising awareness of this disease.
I hope every step I take in training myself up for completing the 63.27k will can help to support all the incredible work that this charity does towards combatting MND.
