A year ago today I was admitted to Kings College Hospital for a weekend of steroid infusions and a kidney biopsy. Following this I was diagnosed with ANCA Vasculitis with kidney involvement. It has been an emotional year having to leave the job I love but with the support from my consultant, friends and family I am getting there.
Vasculitis UK has also been an amazing support. Being able to chat with people going through this as well and answering questions has really helped.

To mark International Vasculitis Awareness Month in May, I'm going to walk 30 miles in May for Vasculitis UK. By taking part and raising vital funds, it allows Vasculitis UK to support more patients and their loved ones, fund life-saving research and work with medical professionals so that there are better outcomes for patients in the future.Thank you for your support
