Story
At the end of June this year I'll be taking on a 100km (just over 62 miles) trek over the Yorkshire Dales to raise money for Blind Veterans UK. It's been described as an endurance event not for the faint hearted and it's a 24 hour event so no overnight stay for sleeps, just stops for food and drink!!
I enjoy a challenge but this is by far the biggest thing I've ever done. Im excited and nervous at the same time but I'm going to give it my all to get across that finish line and the thought of helping such an amazing charity will spur me on during my lows.
I'm doing the walk with two school friends, one of which I haven't seen for almost 40 years! We're all turning 50 this year so thought this would be a great thing to do to mark our biggie birthday year!
So please if you are able to help this fantastic cause and donate to my page I'd be hugely appreciative for any donations, however big or small.
Thanks again for taking the time to read my page.
