I have run three marathons for charity in the last ten years but this one is very close to my heart as I lost my beloved Dad in September last year to cancer and want to raise money in his memory to continue to support the fight against this dreadful disease. This marathon is a walking one for shine.co.uk and starts at Battersea Power Station and we walk all over London (26.2 miles). All funds raised will go to Cancer Research. Battersea was my dad's home town where he was born and lived all his life so it is very poignant for me to take part in this. Thankyou for your support x
