Story
In May 2019 Lulu was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma - a rare form of bone cancer and for the best part of the last four years we have lived with the impact of that diagnosis on our lives. Not only was she subjected to months and months of chemotherapy, and a lower limb amputation, the disease took her life on the first day of 2023.
During her journey she showed positivity, courage, determination and fierce independence… and never ever allowed it to stop her making the most of every moment. She smiled and she lit up a room, she laughed and lived and loved very hard and whilst she should have stayed with us longer we are grateful for every moment.
From the point of diagnosis the Teenage Cancer Trust have helped us, supported us and guided us and young people must never face cancer alone.
Should you wish to ‘do’ something in memory of Lulu - we would ask that you consider a small donation to this amazing charity and commit to ‘living like Lulu’.
