Sadly, two of my very good (Mum) friends have been diagnosed with malignant brain tumours, one only very recently. Their worlds have  been turned upside down. The London Marathon is a way for me to raise awareness and funds for research into brain cancer which is so important. There is so much more that could and should be done to improve the outcomes from this disease and many more potential life saving drugs that could be developed. Carie and Helen are beacons of light and strength and just simply inspirational women. I’m so grateful I can do my bit and help support this wonderful charity and my beautiful friends. 💗
