Story
Hello! As some of you may know, in 2009 I smashed the World Record for the London 10km Run by completing it in under 12 minutes. Last year, I was unfortunately prevented from competing again due to too many summer parties – but this year, I return to the race-track once more, in the greatest competition I could imagine – against myself.
Please sponsor this mind-boggling feat by donating to the charity Shelter.
Shelter work to help homeless people get back on their feet, off the street and into accommodation, on both an emergency and longer-term basis, alleviating the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing. Shelter tackles the root causes of bad housing by lobbying government and local authorities for new laws and policies and more investment, to improve the lives of homeless and badly-housed people. They do this by giving advice, information and advocacy to people in housing need, and by campaigning for lasting political change to end the housing crisis for good.
Please give generously to this very important cause – and be a good Samaritan! Thank you very much in advance!
