On the 5th April Jon and I will be running the Bournemouth Half Marathon for Kidney Research UK. Please sponsor us as this charity means a great deal to me.

My big sis was born with a reflux kidney valve and on October 2005 she had a kidney transplant with my amazing mum being the donor.

So why should you sponsor me?

1 - I am not a good runner.

2 - I am not a fast runner.

3 - I get bored after running 5 miles so running a half marathon will be torture.

And why has Jon kindly agreed to run with me? Well.....

1 - I made him do it!

2 - He has an unhealthy obsession for lycra so this seemed a good outlet for this obsession.

3 - I have 'agreed' to marry him when I turn 40 so.... he owes me a favour!!
