We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

10 years ago Tim was diagnosed with Parkinson's.  All the money that has gone into researching this disease has meant that he has had a good 10 years.  He was diagnosed at  49 - unfortunately more and more  people are now being diagnosed at a younger  age.  Parkinson's UK need money to fund research to help find out why this is happening  and discover more effective  drugs as people are living longer with the disease.  Five years ago Tim and Caroline did a cycle ride in India which raised around £5,500.  This time around Thaddeus and Caroline are hoping to trek the Inca trail to Machu Picchu.  Training is not going very well at the moment so we need your support to encourage us both.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
