On Saturday 20th September, we all would have been celebrating Mum's 60th Birthday. It just so happens, that on that day, The Christie hospital will be holding their 'Walk of Hope' event at Tatton Park. 

Christie's was Mum's charity of choice after she was successfully treated by the hospital in 1997. For Mum, they were a comfort blanket during and for many years after, a very scary time in her life. Personally they gave us 17 more years with Mum for which we will be eternally grateful.

Therefore, failing Afternoon Tea in a swanky London Hotel ( Mum's choice), we can't think of a better way to mark Mum's birthday than raising money for a wonderful hospital.
