Story
Hi family and friends
I'm doing the 10km and want to raise money in memory of Josh Merrick who played rugby with Owi at Burnage RFU. Josh died suddenly, aged 19, from an undiagnosed heart condition in January 2013. Every week at least 12 young people in the UK die from an undiagnosed heart condition.
Therefore, all money raised will go to the Josh Merrick Memorial Fund. The fund supports the work of the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (C-R-Y). This fantastic charity increases awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. The charity aims to prevent young cardiac deaths through raising awareness, screening and research and supporting affected families. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and even more importantly I would like you to educate yourselves about this through visiting the C-R-Y website c-r-y.org.uk
Thanks so much x
