We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

At 2am on one Monday morning in April I thought it would be a fabulous plan to apply for the London Marathon, in the hope that two friends who agreed to run it with me (you know who you are!) would be doing the same - the inevitable happened and here I am running solo - getting through on the Ballot no less...

Now everyone who knows me well will be aware how much I do enjoy a tipple or two, so it's been very hard to choose trainers over wine for me. Nevertheless on January 1st 2013 I will come over all G I Jane on you all (avec hair) and start training like a mad woman! I promise.

Any amount you can sponsor me would mean a lot - the Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity helping and supporting stroke sufferers and I would love to raise as much as possible for them. I'm running the Marathon for anyone who has ever been touched by stroke.

Keep the words of wisdom coming people and I will keep you posted on how my training is going - 26.4 miles, how hard can it be.....

Thank you!
