Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the Edinburgh Half Marathon on 10th April (argh!!!) and hoping to raise some money for a fantastic charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care, along the way.

Marie Curie Cancer Care provides care for terminally ill patients in the community and in their hospices, along with practical and emotional support for their families. They are also committed to carrying out the research and development necessary to find out what the best possible care is and how to provide it. Scientists funded by Marie Curie Cancer Care are also at the forefront of cancer research.

The support Marie Curie received meant that last year alone, more than 31,000 people were given the choice of where and how to spend their final days. They need to raise £9,212 every hour of every day to carry their vital work which means so much to so many. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer so it’s the most efficient way to donate.
