As you may know, my wonderful father recently passed away on 15th February this year at the Shrewsbury Severn Hospice, a couple of weeks after being admitted into hospital and a day after being admitted into the hospice itself.

He may not have had long in this beautiful place but the happiness he felt just by simply being there for that very short time was immense. He loved his room, he loved his comfy bed and he loved the birds outside in the garden.

Dad died a day later, surrounded by his children and embraced within our unconditional love. Now I want to give something back to the place that 'held' my dad and his grieving children during that sacred time.

Please don't feel that you have to sponsor much. £1 would mean everything to me and much more to future families that are going to be in need of this wonderful hospice.
