Story
Thanks for taking the taking the time to visit my just giving page.
In May this year, my friend Ruth Mann passed away from bowel cancer. Since her diagnosis. Ruth firmly hoped that there would come a point in which a cure would be found or a different drug trialled which would make living with cancer easier. I was going to run this race in secret as I am not even sure I will be able to do it but I felt guilty. Even if we raise a small amount, it may help pay for an hour of a researchers time in which a breakthrough is made, or pay for a nurse to administer pain relief and hold someone’s hand when in pain. Who knows, but I am going to try, with your help to pull something together to add to the pot which is much depleted because of A lack of fundraising events during lockdown. Thanks for helping and for those who knew Ruth, I will let you know how many robins I spot along the way as I will know then she is with me, motivating me in death as she did in life. X
