I am raising funds for Northamptonshire Community Foundation to raise money for the Foundation's Northamptonshire Champions Fund. The fund supports young sportsmen and women in their development toward being the Olympic stars of tomorrow. England internationals and those ranked number one in their sports have been supported - several athletes funded even took part in London 2012! You can help create the stars of tomorrow.

Thanks to generous supporters as well as Northamptonshire Sport, Northamptonshire Champions Fund has made a total of 82 awards to potential stars across a huge range of sports including everything from Athletics to Archery and Badminton to Olympic Wrestling. Dedicated young people are often turned away from Olympic sport due to the high cost of taking part in sport and this fund aims to support young people, parents and families with what can often be a struggle to meet all required outgoings.

Several athletes funded by the Northamptonshire Champions fund have gone on to win International competitions, achieved medals at sporting events and talented young people, able bodied and disabled have reached rank 1 in the world for their chosen sport. Without support from the Northamptonshire Champions fund, administered by Northamptonshire Community Foundation, young athletes may never have reached the top of the tree in this way or be able to continue trying to achieve their next goal.
