Story
On the 29th of January 2005 our brother Jon, a Cheshire police officer, drowned while rescuing 3 children from a riptide in Australia. At the end of July Hayley and I will be cycling 180 miles with officers from the Met Police from the Police Memorial on the Mall to the National Arboretum in Staffordshire to raise money for Care Of Police Survivors. COPS is a charity very close to our hearts. They offer support and counselling to hundreds of families across the UK whose loved ones have died in the line of duty; sometimes in unbearably tragic circumstances and they have helped us immeasurably in the years since Jon's death.
