Endometriosis "March in March" , 1 March 2020
Endometriosis is a debilitating condition that currently affects an estimated 1 in 10 women. Please support us in March (Endometriosis Awareness Month) by fundraising in aid of the Excellence in Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Care and Treatment Team.

Story

I am taking part in March in March to help raise money in aid of endometriosis research. The March in March asks people to walk a kilometer (or a mile) for every day of the month to raise awareness of endometriosis and to raise badly needed money for research.

As I’m currently able to be a lot more active than many endometriosis sufferers, I’ve decided that this isn’t much of a challenge for me so I’m multiplying it by the number of decades it took for me to get a diagnosis  and plan to walk 93 km (58 miles) instead.

I’ll keep everyone up to date with how I’m getting along as the month
progresses. I’ll also be talking a bit about my personal experience with
endometriosis (and probably boring you rigid with facts and figures along the way).
