Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. My father (Michael Dawson) died overnight on Valentine's day 2019. He had aggressive stage IV prostate cancer. Sadly his diagnosis came too late & the treatment he received was palliative from the outset.

One in eight men are likely to get the disease during their lifetime. Prostate Cancer UK supports men living with the disease & funds research to advance its diagnosis & treatment.

I have pledged to raise funds for the charity by taking part in The Cardiff Half Marathon in October! Anyone who knows me will realize that this is a significant departee from my usual interests of swimming & riding! It is fair to say that I have set myself a significant challenge!

I'd gratefully receive any donations that my friends & connections feel able to give at this time.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks,

Caroline xx
