ECUADOR EARTHQUAKE - KANTAR APPEAL
Campaign by UNICEF UK (RCN 1072612 (England & Wales) and SC043677 (Scotland))
CHILDREN ARE IN DANGER AFTER A MAJOR EARTHQUAKE IN ECUADOR

Story

I am raising funds for the Ecuadorean earthquake appeal.  It is devastating it to see Ecuadorian friends and their families injured and homeless. Bahia De Caraquez was the town where I first dipped my toes into Latino life, learned so much and have so many fond memories of and was one of many town ripped apart by an earthquake on April 16th 2016.

At least 150,000 Ecuadorian children have been affected. Bahia de Caraquez, and the neighbouring surf town of Canoa have more than 75% of people homeless. Mudslides have caused further damage to infrastructure.

I am fundraising for UNICEF Ecuador Earthquake fund as this have been focusing relief efforts on health, water and sanitation conditions in Bahia De Caraquez and the wider Manabi region.  I hope via my run, I can assist a little towards the rebuilding of lives and homes.

Thanks for your support , Caroline
