Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I would love you to join me in a very special fundraiser, Hike4Mike, to support the son of a much loved colleague at BBC South, Bob Everett.

In March 32 year old Mike had a gym accident. His back was broken and his spinal cord severed leaving him paralysed from the waist down. It was a life-changing injury for Mike, his wife Clarissa, and his 2 year old son Arthur.  Mike and Bob have swapped homes but Mike still needs to fund adaptations to the house to meet his disabilities.  He would also hugely benefit from an "active" wheelchair to give him the best chance of leading as normal a life as possible.  Mike has not asked for any of this and it is our idea to do something positive to help him move forward.
