Due to bad weather our date was postponed from 26th June to 5th August 2022 when the five of us kept our word and did the 10,000ft skydive 🪂
One of the best experiences of our lives
We are raising money for this horrendous condition as it's close to all our hearts.
Sadly Rachel, my Sister suffered with this condition for over 13 years, it attacked her skin, Rachel being Rachel put on a brave face every day and faced her public as Landlady at The Mermaid Tavern in Herm.Sadly Rachel passed away unexpectedly in November 2021.
We are also jumping for friends and family members who are suffering from this and family and friends who have lost loved ones.
Donna and Georgina - close friends and who are mother and daughter struggle daily.
Hopefully one day there will be a cure.
Lupus is a condition that affects the immune system. It can cause problems with your skin, joints, kidneys and other organs.
Symptoms of lupus include joint and muscle pain, extreme tiredness and a rash on your face.
There's currently no cure for lupus, but the symptoms can often be treated with medicines that reduce inflammation in your body, such as steroids.
Lupus is caused by your immune system mistakenly attacking healthy parts of your body. It's not fully understood why this happens.
