I am the owner of Vivid Dental and many of you know I have two delightful children, Henry who is now four and a half and Clara who is two. Just before Clara was born Henry was diagnosed with Leukaemia. It felt like our world was ending. As you can imagine, this is not how I thought life would be for my beautiful family. 

Henry underwent intensive treatment, lengthy hospital stays at Randwick Children’s Hospital and it was incredibly stressful for all of us.  Henry was a trooper and handled the whole process a lot better than me! Fast forward to now, Henry is doing really great and he has finished his treatment and so far he is in remission. He still has regular tests and hospital appointments. The incredible care and support from the team of Doctors, Nurses, Specialists and Support Staff is something that I will never forget.

Henry has come to the end of two years of treatments and to celebrate I want to do something to help kids like Henry.  To this end I'm going cut my long hair and donate it make a wig for a child undergoing medical treatment who has lost their hair to feel more confident within themselves. I also really need your help to raise money for the Kids with Cancer Foundation who have been helping sick kids since 1998. They help the youngest of families, by providing financial assistance while their child is being treated for cancer.

Luckily for me one of our lovely staff members Reshma is also cutting and donating her hair. I'm humbled by her show of love and support as well.
