Donating my hair · 6 June 2015

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

I've decided to get my hair cut short and donate the ponytail, on Friday 29th May.

The charity I'm going to donate to, The Little Princess Trust, passes hair donations on to a factory then buy back the wigs that are made for £350 each. They ask if anyone donates hair that they also try to raise money so that they can make more purchases.

Here's a link to the charity : http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/information/

Please pass the link for this page onto anyone else who might donate.

Please tick the gift aid box so the charity can claim back the tax on the amount of your donation.

Also, if the haircut is too short, you get to see me look like an idiot until it grows out again. Happy times.
