I would like to say a Great Big Thank You to everyone that sponsored me on the Skydive Challenge which took place last weekend !! After getting up at 5am Saturday morning and waiting all day to jump, it was cancelled due to fog and bad weather, so up again the next day @ 5am to once again travel to Peterborough to try again. I am pleased to say that Sunday’s weather was so much better, clear skies and great views, so off I went to jump again.

After flying up to 13,000ft we proceeded to get ready to jump. No fear, just pure excitement, (I felt like a kid at Christmas). I decided to do a backward roll once out of the plane, at a speed of 180-200mph, reducing to 120mph. It was fantastic and I loved every second. Once the main parachute opened we slowed down to a pleasant 20mph, at which point I took over the handles of the parachute and pulled to the left and the right to put myself and my instructor into a spin. He he he. An amazing experience and one that I will never forget.

I was hoping to post some images or my DVD of the day, however this failed to work, as there was an issue with the camera. So I’ve decided to do it all again in a few weeks time, as I loved it so much !!
