Anyone that knows me  knows that apart from talking,  I love to run. 26.2 miles might be stretching the word "love" !!! I have been lucky again to get a ballot place in the London Marathon on the 2nd  October 2022. I am  1 year off my 50th birthday and this was the age that my dad sadly passed away in 1999 from cancer. I'll always run with my dad close to my heart. 

The Willow Foundation is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16-40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.

Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 17,000 Special Days for young adults living with life threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Huntington's disease.

If alive today my Dad  would approve of my decision to run 26,2 miles at the world best marathon and raise funds for the Willow Foundation.
