Story
I live in the Lakes. I work in the Lakes . I play in the Lakes. I want to help protect and restore a much loved path where over 90,000 people use it each year. The Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Path.
In 2015 Storm Desmond hit the Lake District causing wide spread flooding and devastation. The Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Path was severely damaged, washing away one bridge completely, destroying a further two and washing away parts of the route.
The Lake District Foundation are working to raise funds to help reconnect the path. Highways England have kindly offered £2.5m grant and we need to support the grant by raising as much money as possible to make the reconnect happen.
So please dig deep and give what you can to help!
