Many months ago wrapped up warm in bed I signed up to do the Great North Run and many many miles later, it is nearly here! 

I'm running for cancer research, a charity tackling an issue close to many many people. They have made huge contributions to some incredible research and have really made a difference to cancer treatment and prevention today in the UK. The Great North Run has definitely been in my figurative bucket list since I first came to Newcastle and I am very excited/ a bit scared to be finally doing it. I'm sure you've all been asked by loads of people, but any contribution AT ALL is very very very welcome.
