My name is Caroline, I live in West Suffolk with my Husband and 3 children and supported by a close family network, of which my Mum was the head.  My Mum like me was a keen runner who loved life.  4 years ago, with no notice my Mum passed away.  I remember vividly walking away from the ward at West Suffolk Hospital after that terrible moment, feeling lost, confused and unable to process what had happened.  I am running this years London Marathon in memory of my Mum, Sharon Fisher, hoping to raise money for the Butterfly Appeal so that other families can have the support they need at the worst possible time and to help come to terms with what is happening.

My WiSH Charity enhances the care patients at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust receive. This comprises of; West Suffolk Hospital, Newmarket Community Hospital and community services in Suffolk.We fundraise for all wards, depts and services. We support everything from emergency to the elderly, bones to babies, and cataract to cancer care. You donate to the area closest to your heart.With a population of more than 280,000 people, raising money to enhance the care our community receives is vital, and that's why we need your help.
