Story
It was a usual Sunday afternoon with friends at my local cricket club when I found myself being talked into doing a half marathon run! I had never run before but on a cold November evening training began. Now several months on being coached through one of the coldest winters on record I have hit the 9 mile mark!
Many of you will know this charity is close to my heart and the reason I am running is for my friends and family who have been affected. For some who have pulled through the treatment, including myself, and others receiving treatment now. Breast Cancer Care offers a friendly ear and expert guidance to anyone dealing with the turmoil of this life-threatening illness.
£250 Funds a Breast Cancer Care hospital information point for a year so people with breast cancer, and their family and friends, have access to our latest resources when visiting the clinic.
Please give whatever you can.
